We are glad to inform the general public especially all the students of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) that the management of the institution has announced the resumption date for the continuation of academic activities for the 2019/2020 academic session.

UNIMAID Resumption Date.

The Senate of the University at its Special Meeting held on Thursday, 14th January 2021 directed that the University be re-open for the resumption of studies on 18th January 2021.

All Staff and Students are to note that all COVID-19 protocols would be enforced. All staff and students would therefore be required to wear face masks at all times, wash hands and or sanitize their hands and maintain social distance.

We further inform that this information is subject to change on receipt of contrary directives from the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 or the Borno State Government.
