UNIMAID Resumption Date:
The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has officially set the resumption date for the 2023/2024 academic session, marking a significant moment for both new and returning students, as well as staff members. This update is crucial for all those affiliated with UNIMAID, as it sets the pace for the upcoming academic activities.
The resumption date is 5th February 2024 for the 2023/2024 Academic Session and the registration commences on 5th of February 2024. The returning student begins begins on 19th February 2024. The decision on the resumption was made on 312th Senate meeting on 18th January 2024.
Resumption and Registration Schedule
- Resumption Date: The University will commence the 2023/2024 Academic Session on 5th February 2024.
- Registration for New Students: Beginning concurrently on 5th February 2024, new students are required to start their registration process.
- Registration for Returning Students: Set to start a bit later, from Monday 19th February 2024.
Essential Information for Students
- Mandatory Payment: It is vital for students to note that the payment of registration charges is a prerequisite for registration.
- Consequences of Non-Payment: Failure to complete this payment will result in being barred from participating in all academic activities, which are scheduled to start alongside the registration period.
