This is to inform all the students and staff of the Bayero University, Kano (BUK), that the institution’s management has released the revised academic calendar for the remainder of the 2020/2021 academic session.

BUK Academic Calendar

FIRST SEMESTER

  • 18th January to 20th February 2021 – Completion of First Semester Lectures
  • 22nd February to 13th March 2021 – First Semester Examinations
  • 15th March to 3rd April 2021 – Marking
  • 5th to 10th April 2021 – Departmental and Faculty Boards
  • 12th to 17th April 2021 – Senate Business Committee (SBC)
  • 26th April 2021 – Special Senate Meeting for Exams

SECOND SEMESTER

  • 3rd May to 10th July 2021 – Second Semester Lectures
  • 12th to 14th July 2021 – GSU Exams
  • 15th July to 5th August 2021 – Second Semester Examinations
  • 5th to 26th August 2021 – Marking
  • 16th August to 2nd September 2021 – Departmental and Faculty Boards
  • 3rd to 10th September 2021 – Senate Business Committee (SBC)
  • 16th September 2021 – Senate Meeting.
