The management of the Federal University, Dutse (FUD) has announced the resumption date for the completion of the first semester, 2019/2020 academic session.

FUD Resumption Date

The Senate of the Federal University Dutse at a special session today approved February 1, 2021, for the resumption of academic activities at the university.

Note that:

  • academic activities for the 2019/2020 academic session were suspended from 23rd March 2020 due to ASUU Strike and Federal Government directives to curtail the spread of COV1D-19 Pandemic;
  • ASUU has suspended its strike action in the midst of Federal Government fresh suspension of academic activities for five (5) weeks which ends on 28th January 2021;
  • there is a need to plan ahead toward reopening of the University for academic activities;
  • a draft proposal of the calendar of dates and events had been prepared for the completion of the 2019/2020 academic session.
