1.0 INTRODUCTION
The term leadership is viewed as the fundamental integrating process aimed at achieving desired result in the organization.
In leadership process, leaders plan, organize, staff, direct and control all resources of the organization through people toward achieving organizational aims and objectives. The leaders and its subjects, but also gives adequate concern to the activities performed by the organization. For the organization to be alive, there must be no one method of achieving goal, and activities must be continuous toward group desires. This is what leadership entails.
The term leadership can be said to be multi fact from the fact going, we then define leadership in term of influence, it is big and large. βthe process by which one person induces other to work willingly toward some predetermined goalβ. It is then reasonable to say that leadership has to do with dynamic quality of leader, the action reaction phase of managing others.
Each organization must get or find the best form of getting the best from it works, this is the act of effective leaders, such leadership must have the capacity to influence and induce organizational members to work with maximum confidence and zeal. Poor enterprise performance has almost, always been linked to ineffective leadership.
The survival of the organization such as the one in review in the essay will be at the interest of the organization to develop a leadership that can motivate workers to strive willingly for goal attainment. Only then can an organization achieve greater efficiency in productivity and increase profit.
In a competitive environment, decisions must be made by leadership to which followers must work along with for continuous existence and survival of the organization. Style: is a manner of doing or presenting things
Effective: is applied to that which has the power to, or which actually does, produce an effect: an effect action, remedy, speech. Effectual is used especially desired or intended result.
Effective leadership: includes strong character. Leaders exhibits honesty, integrity, trustworthiness and ethics. Leaders act in line with how they speak, and earn the right to be responsible for others success in the company.
Tools: a tool is any physical item that can be used to achieve a goal, especially if the item is not consumed in the process
Decision: is the act or process of deciding, determination, as of a question or doubt, by making a judgment, they must take a decision between these two contestants.
Making: is a tool to inspire designers and creators to make better choices in the materials they use.
Decision making: is the thought process of selecting a logical choice from the available options. When trying to make a good decision, a person must weigh the positives and negatives of each option, and consider all the alternatives.
Organization: is an entity comprise multiple people, such as an institution or an association, that has a collective goal and is linked to an external environment.
