The Vice-Chancellor of the Adamawa State University (ADSU) Professor Kaletapwa .G. Farauta on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Staff and Students cordially invite the general public to their 5th – 13th combined convocation ceremonies for the award of academic and honorary degrees, presentation of prizes and installation of chancellor scheduled to hold as follows:

TITTLE: DIALOGUE WITH THE DEAF: INSURGENCY AND EDUCATION IN NIGERIA

DAY TWO
DATE: SATURDAY 13th March 2021
TIME: 10.00AM
VENUE: Award of Diplomas, First and Higher Degrees and Conferment of Honorary Degrees, Presentation of Prizes and Installation of HRH Alh. Mohammed Seyoji Ahmed, the Emir of Pindiga in Gombe State is the new Chancellor of ADSU, Mubi as Chancellor

You may wish to note that the event was earlier scheduled to hold last year but had to be postponed due to the global pandemic that ravaged the entire world. However, the University Management has rescheduled the event to hold to enable her graduands to be conferred with their various degrees and presented their certificates.

The highpoint of the Convocation Ceremony will be the installation of the 2nd Chancellor of the University and conferment of Honorary degrees on two eminent personalities which include the Founder and the First Visitor to the University, Mr Boni Haruna, Former Governor of Adamawa State.

Also scheduled to precede the Convocation is a Convocation Lecture to be delivered by the Vice-Chancellor of Army University Biu, Prof. Kyari Mohammed on the Topic “Dialogue with the Deaf: Insurgency and Education in Nigeria ” All invited guests and the general public are to note that all approved Covid -19 protocols will be strictly observed at all the venues of the event.
