This research work will examine the impact of incentive on workers morale and productivity in an organisation for easy approach. This research work will be divided into five chapters which chapter one consist of the background of the study, statement of the problem, hypothesis, purpose of the study, significance of the study, definition of terms, delimitation of the study, historical background of the case study (Nigeria Air force).
The second chapter consists of the literature, Review, the theoretical background, the empirical orientation conceptual framework, and summary of the review.
The third chapter consists of the research methodology sample of the study, instrumentation of the study, the research procedure and the method of data analysis.
The fourth chapter consists of the presentation of result, characteristics of respondents, respondents working experience, hypothesis tested, testing hypothesis, data presentation and analysis.
The last chapter, which is chapter five consists of the summary of the study, conclusion and recommendation of the study. This research work will also consist of the reference and the appendix.

1.0 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
The importance of qualified manpower in social political and economic development of any nation can not be over emphasised. No nation achieves a sustainable level of growth and economic development without a concerted effort of a qualified manpower.
The success of any organizations, even in the high technological business environment is determined to a new large extent by the human production factors (raw materials, machines, land) at these labour is broadly defines as the most important. Truly the effectiveness and efficiency combination at all other production factors defends on people. Therefore, it is highly imperative for the management of every organisation to have a comprehensive and broad understanding of the behaviour of people to facilitate the uncompromising achievement of the organisation goals and aspirations.
Human beings are very complex to understand, this is because they have their attitude, value and sentiments which greatly affect the performance of their work. Also human beings are influenced by the social-economic environment in which include self respect mastery and competence As well as growth. The implication of these on the management is that, it should be more involve in understanding the workers, which will help in the realisation of the organisational goals (Odungbesan 1985).
This study is therefore important in that it will reveal the important of incentives and the extent to which they will help workers productivity. The study will also reveal the relative strength of some of these incentives and how they will increase the workers willingness to work as distinct from his capacity to do so, this is important in sense that, for any organisation to survive, it might carry the workerβs along.
1.1 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
The dynamism of tasks in job environment in modern times have been considerably pruned as a result of innovation caught about by technological advancement. In many establishment today. Most of the Surmountable discrepancies which were occasioned by work gap have been so much accessible to easy implementation as a result of special skills and knowledge acquisition technical know how.
Significantly, an employer play an important role in organizing periodically his subordinates employees for the acquisition of greater skills needed for effective performance in the organisation irrespective of the financial involvement. Also, the objective of every expatiation is to make profit from services provided, this profit motives it necessary for the organisation to provides such factors include capital, labour and of all these factors, labour or workers are the must complete to manage. In spite of the complexities, there seems to be an upward trend on the sue of incentives.
For the purpose of motivating employees toward increased productivity over the year, forms of benefits to their work force in order to make them efficient.
Many of the officers and many of the Nigeria Air force line and work with A very low evaluation on their talents abilities and personalities. This holds most of them back from performing their duties effectively and their talents remain locked in by negative attitudes and for all practical purpose, might just as well be non-existence. What can be done then is to motivate them to a greater utilisation of their potential by getting higher goals than have ever achieve. From the fore going, the following research functions will be answered in this study.
- To what extent have incentive programmed conditioned workers attitudes to organisation goals?.
- To what extent does motivation affect employees performance?.
III. What impact does training has on employees performance?.
- To what extent does a conducive working environment enhances employees performance?.
1.2 HYPOTHSIS
In carrying out the research on the impact of incentive on workers morale and productivity in Nigeria Air force, the following hypothesis will be tested at 0.5 level of significance:
- There is no significance relationship between motivation and employees performance.
- There is no significance relationship working environment and employees performance.
III. There is no significance relationship between productivity and employees satisfaction.
1.3 PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship standard of living and punctuality of work life and its implications on productivity. It will appraise workers attitude and perception of incentive as well as the most important benefit that workers desire.
The study will also examine the extent to which management of organisation are able to provide those incentive which enhances employees performance and to suggest or recommend ways through which employees performance can be achieved towards enhancing productivity.
1.4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The primary of setting up an organisation is to attain its goals and see that there is increase in this productivity. Basically, the study will reveal the type of incentive used to motivate personnel within the Nigeria Air force and reveal the fact whether the Air force as an organisation could achieve its objectives without taking the solider to enhance productivity. It is presumed that whatever findings drawn during the conduct of the research should hold true for other sister services, what is Nigeria Army and Nigeria Navy.
1.5 DEFINITION OF TERMS INCENTIVES.
There are welfare packages, which are the benefit enjoyed by workers apart from their basic salary. This is in form of scholarship for their children, loan etc. Ojofetimi (1991) stressed that the purpose of welfare packages are as a means of providing personal advice and assistance to individual and encourage a positive relationship between the individual and the organisation by providing extra security and comforts.
