We are glad to inform all the fresh and returning undergraduate students of the Yobe State University (YSU) that the management of the institution has fixed the resumption date for the continuation of 2019/2020 academic session.

YSU Resumption Date

The University Senate at its special meeting held on Wednesday 13 January 2021 approved 18 January 2021 as the resumption date for all academic activities.Consequently, the following schedule has been drawn for further information and compliance by all Students;

  • Resumption for the Completion of First Semester Lectures – 18 January 2021
  • First Semester Examinations – 8 February 2021
  • The second-semester lecture begins, Marking and collation of first semester results. – 1 March 2021

This is further to note that all staff, students, and the general public must ensure compliance to all the Covid-19 protocols and guidelines, as no student, staff or visitor would be allowed into the University premises, classrooms, lecture theatres or staff offices, etc. without wearing a face mask.
