University of Jos (UNIJOS) new resumption date for all students and staff has been announced as a result of the just suspended ASUU strike. UNIJOS Revised Academic calendar and resumption date for 2018/2019 academic session is out.
ASUU has just called up its industrial action which took three months for students to stay back at home, as a result of this, a new resumption date and academic calendar for continuation of 2017/2018 academic session is released by the management of UNIJOS.

UNIJOS Revised Academic Calendar and Resumption Date
Following the recent Suspension of the Strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Senate of the University of Jos has approved an amended Academic Calendar for the 2017/2018 Academic Session. In approving the abridged Academic Calendar, Senate directed as follows:
- Monday 18th February 2019 – All Academic Staff and Students of the University are to resume for the continuation of 2nd Semester Lectures.
- Monday 11th March, 2019 – Commencement of 2nd Semester Examination
- Saturday 4th May, 2019 – End of 2017/2018 Academic Session.
By this announcement, all members of the University community are advised to note and comply accordingly.
