This is the numbers of applicants who apply for University of Benin department by departments on a yearly basis. It shows the most competitive courses in UNIBEN which are difficult to gain admission into.

One of those things that will not stopped to amaze me about UNIBEN admission on a yearly basis, is its distribution of applicants across all departments for all JAMBITES and direct entry applicants. Its is not a strange thing to see multitude of thousands of applicants putting for a single highly competitive course, while few or no applicants applied for some lucrative courses in the University.

In the just concluded UTME, Jamb has its on its website that, University of Benin  has a total number of 12,907 Medicine and surgery applicants, Accounting 5,423, Business Administration  4,603, Nursing/Nursing Sceince  5,205, and Mass Communication  5,029. These departments just the first five with highest applicants on the list and are huge.

Huge in the sense that, how many applicants do you think Uniben can offer admission among all these? You and I know that, the chances is slim due to the competition.

Funny enough, do you know there are lot of lucrative courses in Uniben that have only five (5) Jamb applicants? Yes… You heard me… ONLY FIVE.
