Post COVID-19: Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU) Resumption Date for 2019/2020 Academic Session

The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, has announced the resumption date for the continuation of academic activities for the 2019/2020 academic session following the easing of restrictions on movement and academic activities by the Federal Government.

Sequel to the assessment of the state of readiness and compliance with NCDC COVID-19 Protocols for re-opening of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, conducted by the Department of Higher Education and the Katsina State COVID-19 Emergency Response Committee on 14^th October, 2020, and the approval on the re-opening of the university by the Department of Higher Education with Ref No. KTS/DHE/UMYU/247/VOL.XVII/3771, dated 16^th October, 2020 the University Management wish to inform the general public on the re-opening of the University on Monday 19^th October, 2020.

Students and the general public are to note the following itinerary of activities for the resumption:

Students are to note that the University had procured safety items for the COVID-19 protocols, therefore all staff and students are to sustain strict observance of the said protocols.

We welcome all students back to the University and look forward to their healthy and safe stay in the Campus.
