Academic Schedule for 2023/2024 Session
The academic year will officially commence on 4th – 7th January 2024 with the resumption of students and the beginning of registration. Lectures for the session will start from 8th January and ended on 29th March 2024.

Payment of fees registration and deadline for all students must be 23rd February 2024. The university has also slated a week from Thursday, 18th – 23rd February 2024 for orientation activities for fresh students at the university, college, faculty, and department levels.
Matriculation and Examination Dates
Matriculation for fresh students is scheduled for 6th March 2024. The end of lectures for the Harmattan Semester will be on 29th March 2024, followed by a revision week from Monday, 1st April to Friday, 5th April 2024. The Harmattan Semester examinations will then run from Monday, 8th April to Friday, 19th April 2024.
Once the exams are over, there will be a period for marking and processing results, with the Senate’s consideration of the Harmattan Semester results slated for Monday, 22nd April to Friday, 26th April 2024.
Rain Semester Schedule
Lectures for the Rain Semester will commence on Monday, 6th May 2024. and conclude on Friday, 26th July 2024. The revision week for the Rain Semester is scheduled for Monday, 29th July to Friday, 2nd August 2024 for revision, and the Rain Semester examinations will take place from Monday, 5th August to Friday, 16th August 2024.
The marking and processing of results, along with the Senate’s consideration of the Rain Semester results, will occur from Monday, 19th August to Friday, 23rd August 2024. The academic session will officially conclude on Friday, 23rd August 2024.
