IAUE Matriculation Ceremony Details
It is mandatory for all newly admitted students to participate in the IAUE Matriculation Ceremony. However, to be assigned Matriculation Numbers, students must complete all registration formalities before Monday, March 13, 2023, and pay all necessary fees. Fresh students are required to pay a fee of five thousand naira only (#5,000) for the Matriculation Gown, and payments must be made online to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni PortHarcourt.
It is important to note that failure to complete registration formalities and pay school fees before the portalβs closure on Saturday, March 11, 2023, will lead to the forfeiture of a studentβs admission into the University. Any student who fails to register before the IAUE Matriculation Ceremony will cease to be a student of the University as no registration will be allowed thereafter.
All Academic Gowns collected must be returned to the Faculty Officers latest on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Defaulters will be made to pay a penalty of five hundred naira (#500.00) only per day. Only students who present evidence of payment for the Matriculation Gown will be allowed to sign the Matriculation Register. Unsigned Matriculation Numbers will not be recognized by the University for official documentation.
Matriculation Gowns can be collected from Faculty Officers from Wednesday, March 13, 2023, and all part-time students can obtain their gowns from the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at the St Johnβs Diobu Campus. It is important to attend the IAUE Matriculation Ceremony procession and ceremony with the Matriculation Gown.
Finally, all fresh students who have completed registration and paid school fees should report to the Information and Communication Office. Matriculation marks the end of registration for the academic session. So, it is imperative that all students complete registration before the IAUE Matriculation Ceremony
