Does Noun Accept Direct Entry and What Are The Admission Requirements?

Does now accept direct entry? Does now accept HND and Lower credit for Direct entry? So many applicants has been so worried asking about Noun 2017 direct entry application forms and how to apply.

Some are even asking to know the numbers of available courses for direct entry in National open university because they want to apply.

Some want to know weather noun accept HND for direct entry and at what level. A friend even asked me if now accept lower credit for direct entry or not.

So what are the admission requirements for direct entry (DE) 200 level into NOUN?

To gain admission into noun for direct entry applicants, you must have meet up with the five O level credit  in the relevant courses. 

1. You are required to score up to five (5) credits in the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB or equivalents at not more than two (2) sittings, which you must have obtained in subjects which are relevant to the proposed field(s) of study.

2. Applicants should take note, that the “Teachers’ Grade II Certificate with a minimum of five merits or its combination with any of the certificates listed under (1) to obtain equivalent of five credits at ‘O’ levels.

3. We would also love to inform all candidates, who are currently seeking for admission into the NOUN School of Law, that they must have up to five (5) credits, which must include the following subjects:

English Language, Literature in English, At least a credit Pass in Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in.

Whatever course you want to apply for through direct entry, you just have to consider you O level a priority which must include English and Mathematics.

Additional Requirements

In addition to the O’level requirements, applicants must also meet up with the requirements below:

i. Must have a National Diploma, which should come from a recognized institutions in Nigeria.

ii. Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in subject(s) which are very relevant to YOUR proposed programme of study with a minimum of one merit and two (2) passes.

iii. Likewise, International Baccalaureates, Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) with at least two ‘A’ level papers in relevant subjects and prerequisites number of ‘O’ level credit passes.

If you meet up with the O level requirements and had any of the above qualifications, you can apply for direct entry into any available courses.
