Production of little bride wears using tie/dyed fabric is not common in Nigeria because the importation of foreign fabric has over-shadowed the use of local fabric in design and production of bridal garment. Little bride garment grows daily with changes in trend, styles, design and also with the use of fabric, garment industries that concentrate in the production of bridal wears and often use foreign fabric in their production and the styles are often the same without any improvements of the present design of little bride wears by promoting the use of tie/dye and plain satin fabric and also to increase the production and supply of tie/dye by textile industries.
This production is made for little bride between the ages of 4 -5 years old and four different designs of garment are produced.

INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of Study Â
Design in clothing or in a garment is the clothing that bears the logo of a recognizable fashion. Little bride wears are garment worn by children during a wedding ceremony. In Bangladesh, we have a very colourful wedding occasion where we use Saree and Punjabi, which is made of with various attractive and artistic designs. Saree is most beautiful, unique and a traditional dress in sub-continental areas. Generally, fabric, texture, colour and style of wedding costume vary from religion and culture of a particular country.
Some people want to stick with the tradition and cultural attire but now generation wants the new and stylish costume, which influenced by other countries or cultures. It seems that day by day our culture and tradition changes rapidly. The difficulty associated with promoting bridal designs may actually base on the origin of fashion.
The fabric employed in the production of little bride wears are mainly from bridal satin, bridal lace, bridal net, bridal accessories, hard net and it is also understood that little bride wears are been designed with foreign fabric and there are no availability of little bride wears to choose from and the ones available are expensive to purchase.
In the production of little bride garment, the class to be designed for is the middle class which they will be able to afford and appreciate.
In this research work, the little bride wears to be produced is in age3-5yrs. four [4] different designs of the garments will be produced with the use of Tie /Dye and plain satin fabric and other fashion accessories like bias, zipper, bow tie, stones and also using tie/dye and plain satin fabric in making flower bokay in order to bring out the beauty of tie/dye.
The purpose of this research work is to improve the present designs of little bride wears, to minimize the importation of little bride garments, to provide opportunities for fashion designers and to promote the use of tie/dye and plain satin fabric in the production of little bride garment.
The garment is also provided with attractive and well-fitting aesthetic look, in this project survey method and questionnaire to seek people’s opinion on the use of tie/dye and plain satin fabric for little bride production was used.
It is very essential that little brides are properly dressed in suitably designed wears with good colour combinations, bridal accessories, and comfortable fabric to make the event look beautiful and attractive.
It is very essential to pay attention to little bride garment because it makes the bride and groom look special on their wedding day and It also communicates to the on-lookers the consciousness to fashion status and financial buoyance.
According to Lockwood [Germany 2014], stated that designers of little bride wears should be aware of the way a child’s body shape changes and also be able to recognize the shape of a child at a particular stage she also added that the age of the little bride should be between age 3-5years.
In addition to the above statement, the designer of little bride garment, should have a mental image of the child they are planning to dress. It is important to become aware of what children really look like before attempting to clothe them.
The researcher attempts to innovate the production of little bride wears by using Tie /Dye and plain satin fabric. To produce a unique dress in such a way that the fabric produced will be appreciated by all Nigerians and this will bring in new level of creativity in the production of little bride wears.
1.2 Statement of the Problem
There are no availability of little bride wears to choose from.
The ones available are expensive to purchase.

The project will guide the existing bridal garment manufacturers on how to use Tie/ Dye and plain satin fabric in the production of little bride wears.
To provide job opportunities for fashion designers.
