The Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) has just suspends its 3months old strike today Thursday, 7th 2019 after reaching agreement with the federal government. All University students can now resume back to schools. Congratulations.
As we all know, Universities students has been on strike since November 2018. ASUU has finally reached agreement with the federal government and hereby called off the 2019 strike for every students to resume back and commence normal academic activities.

It, however, warned that “this is a suspension, not an outright call-off. If government reneges on our memorandum of agreement, we will embark on another industrial action with full force.”
The association orders lecturers to resume back to work on Friday, 8 February, 2019. All students are expected to resume back to school as soon as possible.
