Abia State University (ABSU) first batch admission list out for 2020/2021 academic session. ABSU admission list is out and all candidates who applied for admission into the school can now check their admission status.

This is to inform all the candidates who participated in Abia State University (ABSU) Post-UTME that the management has released the admission list for 2020/2021 academic session.

Do you participated in Abia State University Post-UTME for 2020/2021, it is our pleasure to inform you that the management has released the admission list for 2018/2019 academic session. Candidates can now check online for their admission status.

ABSU admission list has been uploaded online for all candidates to check their status and accept the offer of admission as soon as possible.

How to Check ABSU Admission List for 2020/2021

As of the time of this publication, ABSU prospective students can only check their admission from the 2nd batch list by going to the NOTICE BOARD within the school premises.

ALTERNATIVELY, candidates can also access their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:

1. Go to the JAMB admission portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your ABSU admission status.

OR

1. Go to ABSU admission status checking portal at https://portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng/Applicant/Admission/CheckStatus.
2. Supply your JAMB Registration Number  / Application Number in the required column.
3. Finally, click on login to access your ABSU admission status.

Admitted candidates report to the Admissions Office of the University at Uturu, for the collection of Acceptance-of- offer slip, to enable them to pay the necessary fees and obtain further instructions therefrom.

Candidates successfully admitted into the Abia State University (ABSU) first-degree programmes are equally advised to:

• Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
• Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
• Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
• Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.

Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress, and regularly check the JAMB site and the University website for their admission status.
