The aim of this project is to construct and install burglary proofs for door and window for staff office in department of mechanical engineering first floor building the construction was carried out with the aim to safeguard the office against burglars, and using appropriate size of rectangular square pipe, angle pipe and sheet metal. Fabrication method employed includes welding, grinding, drilling, filling and the use of joint. At the end of the exercise, the burglary proof was capable of determine any unwanted and unauthorized intruder into the staff office.

1.0 INTRODUCTION
Frequently attacks by burglars led to the introduction of metal burglary-proof which is usually installed before the main entrance of the door in order to prevent the intruders for entering into the office, room, shop etc, burglary is an act of breaking into premise to commit a crime, while Burglar proof is define as the process of joining metal, design to protect against burglars The primary reasons why burglary proof are preferable are. It is readily available. It is affordable and provides maximum security.
Burglary proof are design and constructed in different form but serving the same purpose and aimed for protection at different places depending on the types of security needed in such office.
1.1 THE BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
Engineering is the discipline, art, skill and professional of acquiring and applying knowledge. This project design to introduce a new product or modify the already existing one, with the aim of improving the quality of performance.
Burglary proof is an equipment used to protect against or design to afford protection against burglary, burglary proof constructed and mounted at the entrance of a premises or at doors and windows that lead into a building to prevent against the action of burglary and aid security of lives and properties most burglary avoid attempting to break through the burglary proof due to the fear of attracting attention because of the noise which would be created which can used to detect the burglars.
This project, construction and the installation of burglary proof door in the staff office at mechanical engineering department was aimed to prevent illegal entry, so as to protect properties.
1.2 STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
An unprotected office is susceptible to unauthorized entrance and stealing. Therefore burglary door & window was constructed to protect the properties there in office.
1.3 AIM AND OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this project, construction and installation of burglary proof for door and window is to improve the level of security in the staff management office, to help and prevent burglars from trying to enter the office by un-authorized entry. It was aim to detect burglars who tends to steel away precious things that worth a lot of money.
1.4 SCOPE OF THE WORK
The scope of the work was to was to construction burglary for door and window which in to mounted at the door and window of staff office
