Window graphics is an eye-catching way to promote a product, service or an idea. It is very effective for the enhancement of advertisement which is a one-time cost. Window graphics can be opaque, translucent (perforated to allow light in) or transparent, it can also have permanent or removable adhesive, it make use of several materials such as opaque vinyl, perforated vinyl (window perf.) printing i.e from the computer to the press and unto the material of use.
This project made use of perforated vinyl and transparent vinyl which have adhesive properties, after printing it is peeled from it’s backing and attached to the final medium in this case mirror, the perforated vinyl is made up of tiny holes that are spaced in even intervals across the face of the vinyl surface, while the transparent vinyl is clear with no holes just as the name imply (it is transparent). Its application is limitless ranging from glass areas of vehicles, store-front, in firms and organizations, this kind of printing has special and attractive appearance.

CHAPTER ONE
1.0 INTRODUCTION
Window graphics 8170-p50 offers balanced viewing from both sides of the film and is optimal for vehicle graphics, while windows graphic film 8170-p40 offers a 60/40 perforation pattern for greater printable surface and increased image quality with slightly reduced (non-imaging) viewing through the second surface. The 60/40 perforated is ideal for high profile messaging in storefront windows.
“These films gives users’ unmatched flexibility and versatility”, said Mike J. Petrich, 3M technical service specialist. “Whether they are used for vehicle windows or storefront graphics and across a wide variety of printing platforms, the films help users put their window space to work”.

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Originally graphics printing was rudimentary in quality. Labels requiring high quality have generally been printed using the offset process unlike recently. Since 1990, great advances have been made to the quality of graphics printing processes, printing inks, printing plates.
Digital direct to plate system have been s good improvement in the industry recently. Companies like Asahi Photoproduct, Av Flexogic, MacDermid, have pioneered the latest technologies, with advances in fast washed out and the latest screening technology.
Full color picture printing is now possible, and some of the finer presses available today, in combination with a skilled operator, allow quality that rivals the lithographic process. One ongoing improvement has been the increasing ability to produce highlight tonal values, thereby providing a work-around for the very high dot gain associated with graphics printing.
1.2 AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SUBJECT
The main purpose of this project is to find a suitable type of printing on mirror, glass, and window.
The objectives seek to achieve the following:
- Create an idea to be printed on mirror and space for reflection.
II.Attract attention of viewers to the printed image as they look into the mirror.
